Our Year 5 children had a fantastic day at their trip to the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry, where they stepped into the shoes of real engineers, in a hub that oozes innovation and research in industrial transformation!
Throughout the day, the children worked collaboratively to tackle exciting challenges, including building bridges, designing robots to assist in disaster situations and using their problem-solving skills to find creative solutions. It was wonderful to see their teamwork, resilience and innovation shine through!
The afternoon saw an exciting trip to the workshop to observe state of the art robots and giant 3D printers in action and learn all about the future of STEM! Another highlight of the day was certainly feeding the fish that surround the two buildings!
A brilliant day of hands-on learning that inspired our future engineers! A huge thank you to the MTC for putting on a brilliant day for our children.
